about
Why would anyone be grateful for bucket baths outside? Well, I'll tell you. If you're taking a bucket bath, it assumes a few things. It assumes that you own a bucket, you have water, and a way to heat water up. It also assumes that you live far out enough in the country that no one's going to see or care if you're out there taking a bath. All things to be grateful for.
lyrics
Grateful
I'm grateful for quiet early mornings
And houses that stay dry when it's storming
And warm on a winter night
I'm grateful for bucket baths outside
As long as the water is warm and I can hide
Behind some jungle out of sight
Tried to write it light, trite and delightful
Guess I can't help but sing the blues
Don't expect me to get too insightful
Hell, I'm still out here looking for some clues
I'm grateful for green shady trees
I'm not sure I can live without these
I suspect I'm allergic to too much concrete
I'm grateful for days that are boring and slow
Just hanging out doing the same old same old
The simple things can be so sweet
Beware of those who want to tell you
Just how close the end is near
There's usually something they're trying to sell you
While they're busy preying on your fears
I'm grateful for bluebonnets down in Texas
And coffee at rest stop exits
And the RV angels who serve it
I'm grateful for friends who forgive me
My dumb old mistakes and still stick with me
I'm sure that I don't deserve it
Rage and fear can keep you motivated
Don't want contentment to be a crutch
And if you're not always appreciated
Don't let it shake up your head too much
I'm grateful for every little bit of bliss
I can grab while working on something like this
Just one more of my many projects
I'm grateful for all of my time
And all that I've got that's still mine
Even though some of them just look like a pile of objects
I'm grateful for all of the free things
That nobody has to pay for
Pretty sunsets in the evenings
Pretty midnight meteors
